How to Add a New Business Listing

To get started, the very first thing to do is click on the +Add Listing button located at the right side of any page in the top header.

Did you know that your business might already be listed on Budhub Canada? We dig deep into the darkest parts of the interwebs to find businesses just like yours, so do a quick search up top in the header to see if we found you. If we did, ‘Fantastic’, and all you have to do is click “Claim Now” on your business page to make it your own. Now isn’t that easy?

Now that you clicked on “Add Listing”, you will be directed to the Add Your Business Listing page. Here you can select the listing package that suits your business needs best.

Starter Hub – 3 Months

This is our basic listing package that you can take advantage for about $16 bucks per month. It provides most of the core features available but without any marketing add-ons or ad credits and can be upgraded anytime.

  • You can upgrade anytime using your Business Dashboard.
  • You can edit your listing anytime using your Business Dashboard.
  • All listings are reviewed by our moderators before it is published, usually within a few hours, but could take up to 12 hours.
  • Each listing is for one location, multiple locations will require a separate listing for each.
  • Two categories are allowed for one listing.
  • Creative/design services are available for a nominal fee to help get your business listing up and looking pro.

Essential Hub – 3 Months

This package is our most popular because it fits most of our customer’s needs, and it only costs just under $25 per month. The Essential Hub package provides you with all of the core features we offer and the Lead/Contact form is activated for this package. You also get a $25 Featured Ads Credit that can be used anytime during the listing’s 3-month duration. What you don’t get is our Marketing Pro inbound pack (Spotlight Article that’s published across our social media channels and our blogs, powerful SEO Backlinks, and our Homepage Image Credit/Feature).

  • Each listing is for 3 months that is non-recurring (re-occurring billing is coming soon). It will expire and be unpublished if you do not renew manually.
  • Each listing is for one location, multiple locations will require a separate listing for each location your business owns.
  • Two categories are allowed for one listing.
  • All listings are reviewed by our moderators before it is published, usually within a few hours, but could take up to 12 hours.
  • The Featured Ads $25 Credit is administered by us and published when you want before your listing expires.
  • Creative/design services are available for a nominal fee to help get your business listing up and looking pro.

Marketing Hub Pro – 12 Months

This package is our best of the best with a discounted price for a 12-month listing. The Marketing Hub Pro package puts your business up front and center and it puts our creative team to work for you, that’s why we need a 12-month commitment, and it still works out to be under $24 bucks per month.  It includes all the features we offer with a $100 Featured Ads Credit that can be used anytime during the listing’s 12-month duration. The Marketing Pro inbound pack will give your business a big boost in visibility within our site and will strengthen your ranking with Google for your own site. The Spotlight Articles are published across our social media channels and our blogs and include powerful SEO backlinks to your site.

With the Marketing Hub Pro package, the sky’s the limit when it comes to creating your listing. You will be able to include your company logo, backlinks, and any HTML you want in the description area of your listing. The Homepage Image Credit/Feature is a 2 7-day feature image rotation on our homepage, that you provide to us and is credited to you with a link to your listing. Great for running ad campaigns, timing is everything! and for brand awareness.

Great, you selected your Listing package! Now let’s fill in some details about your business, stuff like what makes you unique and prominent.

A Few Notes:

  • Your business page will not appear in search results until the information has been verified and approved by our moderators. Once it’s approved, you will receive an email informing you that your page has been published.
  • Make sure to use an email that you check regularly, when a lead uses the Contact Us form on your business listing page, the form mail will be sent to the email address you provided to us when you created your account/business listing.

Once you’re finished filling in the details about your business, you’re ready to Save & Preview your work.  Click on the “Save & Preview” button to view your listing for review. From this page, you will have the option to go back and Edit your listing.

  • Once you click on “Save & Preview” your new listing will automatically be saved along with a new User Account for you (if you didn’t previously have one). You will also be logged into our site so you can access your dashboard to manage your listings and user account.
  • You will be notified via email with details about your new listing and user account. It is suggested that you change your User Account password at this point.
  • Your new business page listing won’t appear in search results until the information has been verified and approved by our moderators. Once it’s approved, you will receive an email informing you that your page has been published.

Okay, so at this point in the game, this is what you accomplished so far:

  1. You selected your Listing Package.
  2. You completed the “Add Your Listing Form” and got a new User Account (if you didn’t previously have one).
  3. You Saved and Previewed your work and you’re happy with the results.
  4. You are waiting for approval from our Moderators.

Please allow up to 6 hours for your new business listing to be reviewed by our Moderators. We will make every effort to get your listing published ASAP. Once your new business listing is approved, it will be published immediately.  In the meantime, you can access your Dashboard and change your user account password and access your new listing that is in Pending status, plus you can get familiar with your dashboard.

Log into your account.
